while the cloudflare DC thing is an interesting find: cloudflare already can de-anonymize (signal) users for the state. that's the purpose of cloudflare.

the term "dog whistle" is admitting that one does see as many patterns as the despised "conspiracy theorists" :)

the left has a serious problem with applying their standards consistently, which is the reason they keep bleeding votes all over the west. instead of reflecting upon that MAYBE the problem is things like harris doing this gesture vs. musk doing this gesture is treated differently, they just go full authoritarian against people pointing these things out using the apparatus in place to memory hole criticism.

it's not even that right wing politicians etc. are better, it's that they are consistent. they announce doing authoritarian stuff and mostly follow through with it.

the left talks about love, peace and freedom and then proceeds to debank and take away children of critics and keep alive endless wars.

people do notice this. they don't care that politicians line their pockets, every politician does. they do care about the lies being consistent.
