Apple navigation interprets Canada’s bilingual “east/est” signage as “east eastern standard time” which is… deft. “Stay in the right lane for highway 401 east eastern standard time” is quite a cognitive swoop to endure when you’re moving at speed.

@mhoye Somewhere around 20 years ago I was trying a Garmin nav system. You would think that “Dr.” would be an abbreviation it could handle. But when I switched it to the Australian voice, just for fun, it gave instructions like “turn right on Elm Doctor”
