I'm going to Hawaii tomorrow and after a decade of living in Oregon, in which I have fastidiously conditioned myself to pronounce "aloha" as "a-low-a," I am absolutely terrified.

I split my time between Lahaina, Maui and Bloomington, Indiana. Nobody will care how you say it, just whether you practice aloha: treat people with respect and kindness.
