Is it Star Trek night yet? I'm not even crazy about this season of Disco, but I still enjoy knowing there's a new ep of Star Trek on the telly, after - geez, how many years? 58 years! My dumb tv show (and religion) has been going on in one form or another for 58 years. Take that, kids who used to mock me for being a Trekkie in 1966. 58 years!

@OldAndCranky When my wife and I started watching Strange New Worlds last fall, I realized just how long Star Trek has been going. I can barely remember watching with my parents in 1966, when I was four. I’ve been around for the whole thing, but have never really known a world without Star Trek.
