Being realistic, two women won’t be elected. Harris has too much undeserved baggage. This covers midwest/rust belt and east coast.
@bwbeach Interesting. And well put. As a Black man, I interpret “undeserved baggage” as America’s inherent anti-Black sentiment.
Typically, I would think the party’s typical line of succession would be to move the veep into the top of the ticket, barring any scandals or blatant ineptness.
@clayrivers Yes. By "undeserved baggage" I meant three things:
- she's black, in a racist country
- she's a woman, in a patriarchal country
- Fox has been bad-mouthing her for 4 years.
I think the last one was Hillary's downfall. 20 years of vilification by right-wing media could not be overcome.
