The first water station of the 2023 season is installed! I don't ask for boosts, favorites, or donations often, but would you consider any of these to help save the lives of immigrants, wild flower seekers, photographers, hikers, bikers, OHV enthusiasts and all the rest who are traversing our dangerous, desert backcountry near the U.S./Mexico border? We have volunteered for Water Stations for 15 years, 100% of donations go toward setting up and maintaining the water.
@jim_easterbrook Yeah, I thought about that, but I'd need to talk to the Twitter person first I think or it would feel like a rip-off. Credit due and all that. I'll ponder!
@jim_easterbrook fair enough! I like it because it's very relaxed and anybody can join in, you don't have to be National Geographic standard to play along. There's a theme every day and I enjoy thinking if anything I've taken recently matches already. Just good, chill, fun.
Be nice to have something similar here.
@jim_easterbrook that appears to just be them sharing? The twitter thing is a daily theme and we all join in
@trinsec because they were unwitting passengers on the wild garlic I picked, and I have no arguement with them, so anything else seems cruel. Since they're now in my home, the choices are kill or remove; I prefer the latter. They've been taken to the nearest public green space (a plant covered bit of cliff by the bus stop).
Sweary and opinionated. It's best not to take it personally. Also hilarious but that might be less obvious.
