Good on them, but why are libraries closed source? If anything, I can understand selling applications, but libraries? C'mon.

I reported a limitation and workaround in a closed source library developed by a vendor. That vendor said that it might get fixed and released this week.

Times are changing. Even the big vendors are adapting really well.
