@cambridgeport90 I've read some excerpts which were grim, my partner has read the entire thing and repeatedly woke me up in the middle of the night going "AAARGH" at it

@cambridgeport90 fundamentally it seems like the film improves on the book by cutting some long boring bits for the purpose of making an exciting film and replaces them with big CG spectacle but it still has the problem of being largely a nonstop pile of ~pop culture references~
