@wakest I figured something like this was going to happen; everyone thinks their implementation of the same protocol is the best. And that's just it. Multiple things using the same protocol, bound to cause issues. One of the unfortunate downsides to federation. Not that I criticize the feriverse for existing, for we need it, but it is more likely for arguments like this to spring up in light of the very nature.
