@Surasanji If you can figure that one out, would you let me know?
@Surasanji Oh wow. LOL. I work the service desk, so get a lot of different types of people, too. some are awesome. Some are ridiculous.
@cringe Indeed. I need to follow that advice, myself.
just found a new #C# book, so hopefully it will give me a better prospective on the language. I hope that if the StormlightTech site is ever created from something custom, it users #dotnet and #dotnetcore or the .NET framework. A static site generator would probably kill the community side of the site.
@Surasanji I've seen those. You often wonder why they act the way they do; after all, it's more emotionally taxing to be purposely stupid.
@Surasanji People are goofballs. You just have to make light of the situation, and offentimes you feel better.
@cringe I can imagine that hurt. LOL
@arush And also, how do you personally manage widgets on pages? For instance, I'm trying to create a H-card for my community's site, but that's the only widget I want on the home page. Have you found a nice widget management technique? Was thinking of either Widget Logic or Widget context.
@arush Which plugin are you suing for that? I would be curious, as well as whether or not it works on multiauthor sites. And will have to compare those two themes.
@arush @jgmac1106 Thanks for this; I'll be putting up my site this weekend, hopefully, so should be a fun adventure. This sounds oddly familiar, but dang me if I can figure out why.
Not sure what happened to https://stormlighttech.org, but I can’t update the site, and I need to update some stuff, delete some plugins, and add in some others that would be ultimately more helpful, I think. Need a big hand with Widgets; they look awful.
Offensive opinion on tech stuff
@fatboy I agree with all of those except for Windows and Chrome.
@shortshady I plan on doing that too, one of these days. Not sure when, though, and not sure how, either. Normal docker container, or do I want to go crazy and run Ubos OS under Docker.
@shortshady evening. How goes?
@jalcine I just get a blank page.
"This is probably the most famous organ in the world," the chief organist at Notre Dame says.
The instrument was miraculously spared from last week's fire –– but still requires extensive renovation.
