RT @campuscodi@twitter.com: Windows 10 impacted by 44-year-old bug dating back to 1974. Although, I don't agree this is a bug. Just legacy code that existed in there for a reason that may not be valid nowadays. twitter.com/Foone/status/10586

@LWFlouisa I don't think I've ever seen that. I would like to though.

@LWFlouisa but fiction is imaginative. I mean, certain genres, I can understand why they would need to be rules, but not for the most part. And, it's even cooler when you actually mix genres together.

@cambridgeport90 I met this one guy that likes to hammer down rules for writing fiction that go beyond just ... basic grammar. The irony of it for every rule he makes, I've found at least one exception.

RT @Foone@twitter.com: But I was just flabbergasted at hitting a bug from 44 years ago, while running Windows 10 and copying from a USB 3.0 SSD to another SSD.

It's like you're living on a space station and get trampled by a horse.

We have , , , but where is ? After all, if peertube uses the bittorrent protocol, then, couldn't one do that kinda thing with audio, too?

Read the article from @LanceUlanoff, and while I agree with his premise from last year, when the article was originally written, I can't help thinking that the whole thing just turned a 180. I mention that mainly because, look how many other instances have popped up with various communities? The more instances that appear, the more likely the technology is going to survive. Look at email, for goodness sakes.

I'm tooting from RISC OS on my raspberry Pi (via Brutaldon)

Any #RISCOS folks out there want to give some tips to a noob?

Like, how do I highlight and remove text? Is there a better web browser than netsurf? (If not, that's AOK with me, I just want to know.) Is there a video editor or an audio editor?

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to make use of RISC in my daily life.

Well, dang it all. Helps to have the page order attribute set correctly, doesn't it? I guess 0 means page is hidden. LOL

However, to make up for the discrepancy between registration and not quite yet being a part of it, I did create a custom profile field where folks can give their mastodon handles. I ought to probably fix it so that it says "Mastodon handle" not "Mastodon profile URL". Sorry about that.

Those who register for stormlighttech.org (sorry, I don't know how to add Mastodon as an option to register on the site (Super Socializer plugin is not open source)), but we could use some authentic registrations that aren't those of staff members.

RT @bryanbehar@twitter.com: I’m not Muslim, but I care about immigration bans

I’m not gay, but I care about marriage equality

I’m not female, but I care about reproductive freedom

I’m not a Dreamer, but I care about DACA

I’m not Black, but I care about police brutality & voter suppression

@DragonessDella@octodon.social I probably ought to be doing that right about now, but I'm too tied up with making progress on a web site? LOL
