I hate to admit this, though I find the messages Twitter and what not provide very helpful in terms of helping you decide whom to follow. That could be applied to the fediverse, but instead of using an algorithm, use a bot attached to your account that bases the suggestions on keywords in your posts; so, if you toot a lot about, say, #Microsoft or #anime, then, the bot would find relevant suggestions based on searching the fediverse for those keywords, not based on what you post. It would of course, use what you post initially, though. I don't see any harm in this at all. Thoughts? I am thinking of putting this on my list of projects to do, that's why.
