I've always assumed that the gigabit in GbE meant 1000Mbps.
But https://www.wireguard.com/performance/ shows numbers higher than that, and https://blog.ipfire.org/post/why-not-wireguard, which criticizes the methodology of the first link, also seems to assume 1024Mbps?
I'm in Taipei, though I also go to Kaohsiung quite a lot.
Interestingly, one of my first toots here actually got a pretty swift reply in traditional Chinese from @snow (and my original post wasn't even in Chinese lol).
New rules bar any non-ARC-holding foreigner from returning to Taiwan until the restrictions are lifted! I understand the need for this rule, but exceptions need to be made for those already here, who haven't travelled recently. https://t.co/5DZCjPjy9u
Turns out the "Error while parsing template... No such file or directory" issue I encountered on #OpenWrt just needed a reboot to be fixed.
Yep :)

Used to use Mint before switching to Qubes and Arch.
Ever since the website breach, people seems to be bring up issues with the security practices of Mint though (e.g., security update related). Not sure if they have been fixed.
Installed Pop OS for a relative a while ago, and it was pretty nice. Still Ubuntu-based though.
My (pretty short) exposure with Fedora and openSuse is also quite positive (except yum/dnf being somewhat slow IMO).

Cool, always wanted to try custom switches, but seems like a ton of work :)
I would love to have a hotswap board, but I can't really find solutions that support QMK. (Even the hotswap sockets I find does not seem to support conventional 60% PCBs.)
I'm aware of the Massdrop CTRL and Ergodox EZ, but the former is a bit hard to get in Taiwan, and the latter is really pricey :(

I also have (had?) another board with Gateron Clears, and the lightness is awesome :)
That being said, the board was self-soldered, and due to horrible soldering skills, the original PCB went a bit janky. The attempt to swap in a new PCB resulted in a few unresponsive keys, and I never had the time to finish fixing it :(

I actually used to have another V60 (non-R) with Matias Quiet switches (as opposed to the current typeR with browns.)
Unfortunately, I happened to get it when Matias had terrible QC (at least that's what I read), so I had to send it back a couple of times over the years. (Good thing I live in Taiwan, I guess.)
Still eventually sold the board to a friend because the switches were a bit heavy for my tastes though.
For weird untrusted apps, I usually use [Island](https://github.com/oasisfeng/island) to isolate them.
I also really hate the trend of everything asking you to install apps tho.
What I find sort of interesting is that the legal status for the ban remains debated AFAIK.

Wireguard is awesome! Been using it for quite some time on my home server. Setup is simple and works like a charm :)
That being said, my only experience of setting up OpenVPN is basically one of those one-click Docker containers, so not much experience in that department.
I have been testing my ability to switch over to linux for everything the last couple of weeks and it is amazing.
I have tried this more times then i can remember but still wanted to go back to windows for certain games and more times then not did not use linux that often.
Now with #steam #proton and all the good work with #lutris and the amazing linux gaming community i have not been wanting to go back.
Thanks everyone that made this possible. You Rock!
