One thing I notice about the #Fediverse of which I'm not sure of the meaning: as a culture it makes more use of the two-letter and random new-fangled TLDs than anything else I've seen. dot-social of course, but also write.as, tech.lgbt, librem.one, writing.exchange, mastodon.online, botsin.space... they're all over the namespace! :woot:
@ceoln I find myself more interested in any toot's poster's instance name than the actual toot!
@ceoln yeah, those new top level domains were made for the moment. The dot world and dot social and dot horse will overcome the boring dead old dot coms.
... and of course jorts.horse wahahaha
