This week I learned that British English uses “frown” to mean eyebrow/forehead crinkling/scowling, vs. turning a smile upside down, and friends, MY MIND IS BLOWN.

Heh! I think of a frown as an entire expression, which involves both forehead / eyebrow components and mouth components. Even a smile involves for instance the eyes, eh?
