@drvolts what happened to him, I remember him being a decent writer at Rolling Stone, am I remembering him wrong??

It's a really sad story. He turned from actively exposing some pretty serious abuses in the system, through some nameless alchemical process, to accusing the left of all sorts of right-wing talking points. A great loss, unironically.
