@selzero someone will always take issue with everything. I believe the technology is impressive, and has great potential, but there are always some who want to start fights over everything. We are at a point where everything is controversial. Good artists borrow, and great artists steal. Even an artist thoughts are not original. I ran my own art through artificial intelligence just to see what it would do.

I get what you're saying there, but if the AI art tools (which I personally love, btw) were created by making commercial use of images that were explicitly licensed only for non-commercial use, that could easily be a copyright violation that shouldn't be let pass.

I think the idea of getting some of the Big Hitter copyright holders involved in this way may turn out to be pretty brilliant. :)
