BTW, the fact that many major servers are completely banned from being shared on Twitter, being flagged as malware and disallowed if added to a bio, and even banned from being shared in DM's on #Twitter, should be a bigger story that it is.
@tchambers I haven’t been subjected to this problem yet, even though I do have my mastodon handle in my 🐦 bio, and my pinned Tweet is about joining Mastodon.
Of course, since I only have 254 followers of there (probably a dozen or so are bots), so I’m not going to be a high priority! 😂
I intentionally did not block the supposed bots who followed me, to see if he ever cleans things up, as he promised to do. So far, there’s ZERO sign of that. They’re all still there.
It may be looking only at new posts, not existing bios or posts. Try posting your masto URL now, and you may find you can't. I was pretty shocked, myself...
