Now that I've played around with it a bit, there are some things I like better about Bluesky. What worries me is the uncertainty around what might come next (e.g., advertising, paid memberships, being bought by the Tesla guy). Mastodon seems far better positioned to resist such threats. For now, I plan to stay here and continue to bridge my account to Bluesky.

What's the best way to do that bridging? I'm on both, but separately, and might be interested in more cohesion.

@ceoln If you already have separate accounts on both and want to keep them, bridging might not help. It creates an automated account on the other platform, which would mean that you'd end up with two.

@ceoln Then you could bridge your current Mastodon account there, and it would automatically post your public posts there and let Bluesky users follow you from Bluesky.
