Now we have the Ashoka Chakra
as emoji on #QOTO!
For those who don't know, the Ashokan Chakra was inscribed on the Lion Capital (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion_Capital_of_Ashoka) by the Mauryan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maurya_Empire) Emperor Ashoka the Great (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashoka).
The 24-spiked Ashoka Chakra wheel is charged on the flag of Republic of India, where it symbolizes 'progress'.
The Chakra wheel is also considered sacred in #Hinduism, #Buddhism, #Jainism, and in some Yogic traditions.
A wheel inspired by the #AshokaChakra
can also be seen on the #Romani flag (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_the_Romani_people), which was adopted in 1971 by the World Romani Congress.
