Here, in India, we get "Indian Edition" or "South Asian Edition" or "Asian Edition" of American textbooks. These textbooks are usually adapted for these regions by professors of Indian universities.

These editions have altered arrangement of chapters and even topics within the chapters. Sometimes some extra topics/chapters are included, while some other times some topics/chapters are excluded.

This is something I usually dislike, as I feel that titles should be accessible *the way they are* from anywhere in the world.

But, today I was reading the Indian edition of this book "An Introduction to Mechanics" by Daniel Kleppner and Robert Kolenkow, and I was actually impressed seeing the order of arrangement of the topics, which was better than the original American edition (that I pirated).

Electron magnetic moment - Wikipedia
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electr
In atomic physics, the electron magnetic moment, or more specifically the electron magnetic dipole moment, is the magnetic moment of an electron caused by its intrinsic properties of spin and electric charge. The value of the electron magnetic moment is approximately −9.284764×10−24 J/T. The electron magnetic moment has been measured to an accuracy of 7.6 parts in 10¹³.[1]

DNA of a female hunter-gatherer, buried 7,000 years ago in Indonesia, reveals population history of SE Asia | Technology News,The Indian Express

Although anatomically modern humans are posited to have crossed over to Australia from Asia as early as 65,000 years ago, the oldest dated Homo sapiens remains come from only 13,000 years ago. One of the reasons is the tropical climate, which decomposes natural tissues quite quickly and is therefore not very conducive to the preservation of any remains.

Physics explains why humans can walk through crowded places and not spill their coffee – Physics World
physicsworld.com/physics-expla
They found that for weak oscillations, there was a sharp switch between in phase and antiphase control at the system’s resonant frequency – something that they said can be fully understood using linear systems control theory. For stronger oscillations, the duo discovered a transition region, rich in behaviour, where the motions of the cart and pendulum are not synchronized.
