John Cornforth FRS - Scientists with disabilities | Royal Society
https://royalsociety.org/topics-policy/diversity-in-science/scientists-with-disabilities/john-cornforth/
Sir John Cornforth (1917-2013) was an Australian–British chemist whose life and career were shaped by a hearing disorder that left him profoundly deaf by the age of 20. In 1975, he received a Nobel Prize for his work on the stereochemistry of enzyme-catalysed reactions.
Charles Darwin, for example, struggled with nausea and gastrointestinal distress in response to stress, so much so that modern psychologists have suggested that he may have had a panic disorder.

Bose Satyendra Nath | Home
https://vigyanprasar.gov.in/bose-satyendra-nath/
Unfortunately in india bose’s name is not so familiar. This is a reflection of sad state of indian science. To quote g. Venkataraman: “the name of satyendranath bose will live for ever in physics…unfortunately, most people in india have never heard of him. I would not be surprised if most of our scientists also do not know much about him, although they might have heard his name. Indeed, i am prepared to bet that barring a sprinkling of physicists (mostly theorists), many in our physics community too are ignorant about bose. Even if they have heard of him, it is quite likely that they are not aware of the significance of his work.”

For The First Time, Scientists Have Connected a Superconductor to a Semiconductor
https://www.sciencealert.com/scientists-just-overcame-a-major-hurdle-to-conducting-electricity-with-zero-resistance
Getting this semiconductor-superconductor link together isn't easy – as you would expect, considering no one has done it before. The semiconductor is placed in a sandwich, with insulating layers above and below, while holes etched in the top of the insulating layer provide the electrical contact access.
