You think news are fast nowadays? Think again: This article posted a few days ago (2022-12-15) on @netzpolitik_feed discusses a (quite frankly) revolutionary law in #France that forces manufacturers to either have spare parts ready or make the drawings available for third parties to 3d print said parts (Article L111-4 du Code de la consommation).
Once you check out the actual text of the law (which is hosted on a government website and not like in Germany on some shady government appointed 3rd party website 🤔 ), you realise that the article is in effect since the 1st January of 2022, i.e. almost a year prior to the article posted on netzpolitik.org.

This brings me back to the same old story: We, as a European society, suuuuuuck at communicating with each other.
The Netzpolitik article is great, but it's about a year too late. I cannot find a single article on #ZeitOnline, #Spiegel, #FAZ or #SueddeutscheZeitung on this topic.
What about other #EU countries?
