Julius Caesar caused the beginning of the fall of the Roman Empire in 45 BCE by imposing a woke green-socialist traffic regime on the great city of Rome: the city centre was closed to all vehicles (yes, especially SUVs) between 6h and 16h with the exception of public officials, priests, important citizens and visitors.
