The European, in particular German car makers have gratefully adopted this very bad trend, indeed. Combined with the utter inaptitude to convert to EV, including the Musk-esque decade-long publicly co-funded "research" on H2 cars, the associated gaslighting of the public, and decades of anti-public-infrastructure-unless-it's-for-cars lobbying, they are 100% complicit in this.

(Just in case any non-US commenter feels enticed to post some US bad shit. Yeah, that's bad, but isn't imitating the stupid kid's stupidities even worse? ;-) )
