Total chaos at Bercy
Two trains departing towards Sens, a delayed one to Lyon and an on time one to Laroche Migennes
Can I take the Lyon one I ask?
SNCF guy “It’s full”
Me “So is the other one but this one takes me direct”
SNCF “It’s full”
Me “Look there is literally a seat there” - I point
And they let me on
And even if there were not it’s my call if I stand or not. It’s not a TGV
And they announce the reason for 50 mins delay of this one: they needed to call the police in order to get a group of schoolchildren on board
What?
Also why are French passengers so ignorant?
The pull down seats in the vestibules are full (clogging the vestibules) but there are empty regular seats *because passengers had bags on them and didn’t move them*
I just bluntly told a guy I needed a seat more than his bag did, so I’m sat
