The first Deutsche Bahning has happened.
Train was already delayed by 40 minutes because we had to take a detour due to a collision on our route (in NL). That likely means that some family somewhere is receiving terrible news today, and my heart goes out to them.
However: we're now delayed more b/c stuck in Germany because an upcoming railway crossing is faulty, so I guess this is my official first Deutsche-Bahning today. 🤷♀️
Current train has a 45 minute delay. Next one has a 43 minute delay. Will have 4 minutes to change trains. They will be on adjacent tracks. Might work. Still more than 2 hours to go before we get to that transfer, so I guess anything can still happen.
