What I want for #christmas: A policy in (ideally all) desktop environments where password prompts are marked as such and once a prompt is active (i.e. user typing), any other prompt or window must wait below.
There's nothing more infuriating than continuing your password half-way through in another password prompt, or worse: in plain text on the web because some random browser window popped up. And I say that in 2026 when the world cannot be described by any other word than infuriating.
