"We find the preferential expansion of a population of HA-binding atypical memory phenotype B cells in younger adults (22–36 years old) that does not occur to the same extent as in older people (67–86 years old). These atypical memory B cells show evidence of positive selection by the location and burden of somatic hypermutation in younger, but not older, adults, suggesting an impaired GC response in older persons"
