@cyrilpedia @CurrentBiology Especially how olfactory sensations are processed in the brain. It can be like a pinball game, hitting many brain centers and neural connections, with some ‘confused’ with auditory or visual senses, as in synesthesia. And downstream physical responses, e.g. gagging, headache, etc.
