I don’t understand what the #housedemocrats would lose by cutting the head off the insurrectionist snake. A group of Democrats could immediately vote for McCarthy, as bad as that smells. And all of these anti-American, insurrectionist, snakes like Gaetz, Bobert and the others would immediately be silenced.

Satyendranath Bose was a brilliant theoretical physicist born this week in 1894 in East Bengal (now Bangladesh).
In 1924, while on faculty at the University of Dacca, he wrote a short paper to Albert Einstein about indistinguishable particles related to quantum theory.
Einstein immediately recognized Bose’ genius, translated the work into German & made sure it was published. Bose ideas led to Bose-Einstein statistics which continue to be studied in quantum mechanics. #science #history

@bryanhansel I will look into that. I think I will take the approach a colleague suggested— talk to the students about it from the very start. And structure some exercises where they have to evaluate the validity and accuracy of the AI generated answers.
The system I accessed worked well and I had my first dose of Paxlovid within 3 hours of my first call to my doctor. The only hurdle was I had to snowblower the alley exit, which I had cleared this morning, because the city plowed it shut. #COVID #COVID19 #publichealth
I managed to avoid the Covid for nearly 3 years…but not today. I have to say that the takeoff since my positive test at 1PM has been impressive. Glad I got all the recommended #CovidVaccination and now scrambling to get Paxlovid. Next pandemic we need to rapidly scale up a health services corp with any interested college students, retirees, the general public, etc to facilitate more rapid testing/screening, vaccination and antiviral prescribing.
