Council f**kwits again. Parking bay suspension for relining with no letter to residents. Fair enough, I speak to them on the phone to check I can move to the street. On enquiry they've emailed me the letter they're sending to residents "soon". That goes in the dashboard as well for backup. 2 days in, no work, but a PCN on the windscreen.

Are there any good councils out there? Ones with joint up thinking, good communications, a bit of humanity and a dose of intelligence...?
Mine is dreadful on all counts.
