I am glad to learn of the cease-fire between the US and Iran. I am curious if we achieved the 4 objectives for this war that we laid out:
-Destroy Iran's missile capabilities (inventory/manufacturing)
-Destroy Iran's navy (presumably with the objective of maintaining freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz)
-Prevent Iran from ever developing nuclear weapons
-Ensure Iran cannot arm, fund, and direct militias/terror groups outside its borders
Rule of Acquisition #76: Every once in a while, declare peace. It confuses the **** out of your enemies.
Recently, President Trump, regarding the war with Iran, said, "Look, for 47 years, no president was willing to do what I’m doing, and they should have done it a long time ago. It would have been a lot easier. There’s no president that wanted to do it. And yet every president knew. I’ve spoken to a certain president, who I like, actually, a past president, a former president. He said, ‘I wish I did it, I wish I did,’ but they didn’t do it. I’m doing it."
Representatives of the four other living presidents (Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden) deny that Trump had contact with any of them recently. However, the press has missed one living former president: Trump 45. I believe this is the former president that Trump spoke to. It solves everything!
