Considering that the fediverse is akin to email I shouldn't be surprised that there's spam on it, but I forgot about even the possibility of it until now.
At first I even got excited and thought someone bothered to send an ip logger, but it turned out to be just the average hot grills stuff :(

@Milky ip logger ? Wouldn't all server records ip by default ?
@deesapoetra most servers do, yes, but (generic) ip loggers are specific web applications that generate custom urls on demand and then provide the person who requested the creation of the url the ip addresses of every individual who accessed that particular url.
