After using a #playstation Dualsense controller on my new #steam Console (that I made from a good laptop), I can safely say I prefer it even over my good standard, the #xbox Series X controller. The size is great, buttons and triggers feel amazing, and the symmetrical stick placement, while not as good as asymmetrical for me, is good enough that my thumbs don’t hurt after playing. Also, the dpad feels great. Only caveat is the battery, a bit worse than on the Xbox controller.
@thelinuxEXP I was so surprised when I first connected my Dualshock 4 controllers to the Steam Deck and everything worked so flawlessly. The icons in the Steam UI changed to those of the DS4. Local multiplayer games worked great. I use them since I prefer the symmetrical joystick layout to asymmetrical.
