@whalecoiner @lizupton I agree the handling is really bad, but I also feel like hiring someone who is no longer causing harm by being a law enforcement officer is a chance to rehabilitate him into a member of society. So I don’t think either side looks good. This is just my viewpoint though. I realize mine isn’t the prevailing view on this issue.
@derickflorian @whalecoiner @lizupton Thing is, there's a big difference between (a) hiring a former surveillance cop and (b) hiring a former surveillance cop and making an excited post about how your new hire was a surveillance cop and isn't that cool
