Lisbon is wonderful and is becoming very popular with anyone who has a pension or is a digital nomad. Salaries there are low compared to other places, but if you have some regular income and can prove it, you can get the visa without much trouble.

In the mean time, I visit there in the Spring and stay for a couple of months, backpacking or bike touring all over the place, without spending a fortune.

My family originated from Portugal, I speak the languafe and am enchanted with European culture and lifestyle.
