I just tried a couple of things.

- one, send a message to a group while not following it yet (spam could be a problem soon). Not sure if it went thru.

- two, signed up to a group via the gup.pe website, and it worked perfectly.

Thank you, Will! I proposed the software for a new Scifi book club that's just being started, I think it would be a good tool for that. Well done.
