That is a good thing, to force yourself to use other methods and research.

The article is really important too in explaining how our attention spans are getting impacted, shortened, by the bombardment of short pieces of info from social media feed-lines, TV watching with these stupid scrolling marquees on the bottom.

It's harder to sit or lay down and read a book for hours.

I found the article very comforting in that sense - I am not the only one feeling this. Have thousands of books, many unread, and find less and less like laying in bed or sofa and reading for hours, with big enjoyment, like I used to.
