I have a pet peeve for finding good mastodon clients that respect and take advantage of a FULL WIDE screen for those of us running on laptops and desktop PCs.

There's some support for Wide Screens - I have been able to get some really nice setup using the Mastodon web client's support for AWI, the Advanced Wb Interface. BUT -- your mileage may vary, greatly, as only TWO of the various instances I have tried this one do a really nice job, using FULL screen width. (continues)

@design_RG tweetdeck pwa is really good. Something like this but a native app, for mastodon would be really great.. :)

+ ability to hide reply/boost row + swipe based reply/boost

@vjy I have not used TweetDeck, as twitter was never too productive for me, very little interactions happening there - even now, when I crosspost between here and there more frequently.

Get more interactions here in an hour than there in a full day. And more interesting ones here too, I must say.

Have seen the Halcyon client for mastodon, which runs as web hosted, web browser tab, mentioned as VERY similar to tweetdeck.

Maybe you could look at it and share some impressions? It would be nice, to get opinion from someone used to TD about it.

Todon.NL has a web hosted Halcyon instance, so it's easy to try it -- halcy.todon.nl/
