@JulianRott Learning in different ways is always good. Some types of knowledge need physical training, fine motor control for example.
Some can be more abstract and work best in a focused, desk or blackboard centered way.
I do work and learn, plus teach, in both ways and don't consider one method superior to the other.
We still have paths to apprenticeship, and even people with higher education levels benefit from hands on experience. An engineer who doesn't know how to build can't design ok
