@snow It's pretty frustrating to post and not get any comments or replies, isn't it? And yet, we see lots of people here and elsewhere that seem to post reams of things and not mind the very low engagement rates (in Twitter is the same thing).

I feel that a Local feed that is active and social (people from the instance responding and commenting to other local users posts) is a good way to improve things. Not only it gives the poster a feedback and the sensation that their posts matter, but it might get people in other instances to notice and comment as well.

We had some pretty nice times here at Qoto, when there was this kind of thing going on actively, but things change all the time, people go missing, get busy etc. and new ones come in which we might not know or interact much with.

I think having a nicely laid out post - a title line, followed by a line break, then an initial paragraph, some relevant image, links if possible, all those might help get a reader's attention.
