@ujcmtgs4n4jqza It's an interesting and unique design indeed. All the complexity of the gearing is on a sealed box, mounted in a strong area of the frame. The chain only carries the proper RPM for the wheel drive, so it's much easier for it.

Very uncommon but some people swear by it.
