Anyone here #learning a #language on Duolingo?
I am woefully monolingual and don't expect Duolingo to change that, but it's still fun to do.

My attempts at learning Spanish would be even better with friends!

I'm darylwhite1 over there if you're so inclined.

@djwfyi I'm (actually ) on 😊 I've got myself a pro account and a ruby 93 days streak.

I'm German but because we learn English at school, I can do the English-Chinese course aswell.

@dichotomiker
It's good to keep you motivated and get a foundational vocab going but I am really not happy with the kinds of errors they have in their lessons. I'd really recommend to find somebody who speaks it fluently and do a language partnership. Also paid courses are hugely underrated.
Also if you wan't to give some other apps a try, lingodeer is better focussed on CJK languages.

@laufi @djwfyi Yes, look on ebay for partnerships on skype. Sadly, I don't have so much time (or endurance in the evenings) at hand anymore.

I'll take a look at lingodeer.
