@louiscouture any side effects so far?
@louiscouture the two dozes or first shot?
@louiscouture Which vaccine?
@freemo Nerd talk!
@freemo wow interesting skepticism of doctors, I agree not all doctors are competent, but usually the ones with years of experience and a good track records are very effective and give valuable advice.
I understand you like to do your own research, but I find it very hard to do your own eye exam and to self diagnose eye issues, for that you need special sets of equipment and a skilled doctor to interpret the results.
@freemo How come you willing to buy a random eyedrops online without doctor prescription?
@freemo Did a doctor prescribe to you those eyedrops?
@moftasa There isn't a lot of data about Sinopharm (BBIBP-CorV) vaccine, look like phase III is public mass vaccination, we have to see how it goes. But I have to choose I will Sinopharm vaccine, because it's a well known method of producing vaccines which is historically safe, the other vaccines are highly experimental, complicated to manufacture(Quality control might be lacking) and difficult to distribute.
@freemo The only civil war I see happening is breaking free of big corporates dominance over the digital landscape!
@freemo I terminated my tweeter account and joined fediverse through Qoto last week and I find it awesome, I believe the fediverse is still misunderstood and It could gain a lot more traction if explained and marketed to content creators properly, instead people are migrating to proprietary services like Telegram, Gab, Parler ...etc
@academicalnerd @alex Oh wow thanks for confirming my intuition, I always been curious understanding thermodynamics it's a fascinating subject to me!
I did a bit of research, I found that Accuweather has a patent on RealFeel® temperature equation (lol)
https://patents.google.com/patent/US7251579
Someone even made a phyton script out of that patent.

That seem to narrow the factors that play in the feeling of coldness/hotness!
- chef : il faut qu'on mette en place des backups pour X 😡
- moi : oui, faut faire ceci cela pour gérer les backups pour X 🤔
- chef : ok top, mais tu peux faire Y avant stp 😊
- chef: t'as fini Y ? faut absolument faire Z maintenant 🤪

I quite get it, it's just not very intuitive, in a cold climate the air holds little mass of water especially at those negative temperature so even at 100% Relative Humidity, am not sure if the thermal mass of water in the air plays a major role in the feeling of coldness, my guess would be wind has a more significant role.

@alex @academicalnerd
What factors contribute to humidity in cold weather?
@academicalnerd Maybe stupid question, but I always relate humidity to warm climate, how can you explain humidity in cold climate?
@alex Thanks!
