@erictopol This is a bizarre choice of equating our responses to nuclear war (total=0 since we started thinking it was a bad idea) to pandemics (7 in the last 100 years at least) and we still are letting them run wild.
It feels like this is the kind of press release made by idiots, or ChatGPT itself.

@mickdarling @erictopol According to people in nuclear security that "0" can turn into "1" very fast, just by sheer luck. The field is underfunded and understaffed and getting worse with time.
