#Haskell knowers: should i learn haskell?

- strict typing and functional paradigm: good
- my understanding of monads is better than "like a burrito" but primarily theoretical
- i still have to stare at it for a while to write an optimizable tail call

@misterdave it is something different, more mathematical that other languages. I think it opens your mind in a way that is useful if you are a software developer.

@Sicoaxial well I'm a veterinary nurse, so utility is a lesser concern, but I'm very into having multiple ways to think about problems

@misterdave it's ok then, you can try. But if you are new to programming you can also try something like python.

@Sicoaxial @misterdave Nah, Haskell is fine as a first language too. Even better that way if you can bear it.
