Tomorrow, the SF Board of Supervisors could pass on first reading a use of equipment policy that would authorize the Police Department to use armed robots as deadly force under certain circumstances. I wrote an article diving into the statistics on far-right extremist violence compared to far-left extremist violence, and to say the least, it’s not a “both sides” problem. An estimated 75% of extremist killings in the US over the past decade are attributed to far-right extremists, compared to 4% attributed to far-left extremists — and that’s on the high end of the estimates for far-left extremist violence.

I support keeping the Great Highway, aka the Great Walkway, closed to private vehicles to the greatest extent possible. When closed to vehicles, it is open for safe recreation and travel. We need more of this.

Arizona counties must certify election results by tomorrow, Nov. 28. Cochise County has talked about delaying certification and AZ Sec. of State Katie Hobbs (D) and groups have threatened legal action if the county doesn't meet the deadline.
