@engelbart I found the book Zero to Production in Rust (https://www.zero2prod.com/) a great 2nd step once I finished the Rust book. You get to build something - and get help along the way! #rust #zerotoprod
Just finished reading the first book about #rust .
Perhaps I need to implement something to memorize.
I've got an idea
I am a pretty slow, normal human being, nothing like a 10x young genius.
But I have almost 20 years of IT experience and some common knowledge of related things.
I'm thinking of streaming my attempt of implementing a service on a new for me language with the idea that there is nothing to be afraid of.
I will google something, copy paste, stuck with errors and think that I am hopeless for one minute and that I am a genius for another.
In other words it will be like "an usual Monday of a software engineer".
But may be the fact that eventually I overcome all these challenges will encourage someone not to be afraid.
What do you think? Stupid enough?

I am dead, I can’t believe this AI intro text I just got. If you thumb through it, there are all the usual suspects like breadth-first search and probability.
Then you open the first chapter and it goes HARD on the current state of things.
Then it’s back to mathematical notation like nothing happened.
Once crypto was advertised during the superbowl, it was clear the end was near. On the plus side, #calbears will soon get to sell the naming rights to "FTX field at Memorial Stadium" again.

Getting to ML/AI! ✨
I'm going to build my own AI writing assistant w/ @_buildspace -- kicks off on Nov. 27!

LinkedIn suggested this group to me. “Linguists in Tech”, that certainly sounds like me. Oh look, what's that octagonal font they used for their logo? Well, it's none other than my “Computer Says No” font: https://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/954016/computer_says_no_1
I guess that makes me pretty eligible to be in that group 😉
