Do you know of a tool, a website, plugin, etc. that uses #pandoc? Please share, it would be interesting to learn more about how pandoc is used “in the wild”.
The Journal of Open Source Software @joss uses @pandoc to generate PDF articles from Markdown source.
@warrickball @pandoc @joss It's really impressive! There's quite some overlap between the approaches of JOSS and ER (see my other post), as with PhiMiSci, but also some differences. I would really love to see some streamlining towards a more generic #pandoc-based toolbox for journal editors. Publication for #ScholarLed journals is well covered by #OJS, but #typesetting is still a pain.
@felwert @warrickball @pandoc @joss I believe these tools, along with OS-APS (see below) and ~!guri_ (see my other post) are making similar attempts to address the problem of scientific editing! It would be interesting to start a discussion space to look for ways to tackle this problem together.
